Oh Craig Part 2

****If you're asking yourself, why isn't there a picture of Craig? Well I found out you cant take pictures here, so that's all I got. Sorry :( ****

If you read Part 1, you know what happened on Tuesday. This is a continuation and moving onto Friday, November 5th. Christine and I drove down to San Diego to see Craig once again. We booked the hotel and everything months ahead of time because he decided we would celebrate our birthdays together since our birthdays were the following weekend. We drove down in the morning because we didn't want to hit traffic or anything like that. Knowing LA and all, you never know what to expect. We finally made it to San Diego and went to the hotel to unload our clothes.

We drove around Old Town San Diego a little bit, and then finally ended up at the mall that was right next to the Balboa Theater. We saw Craig's name flashing in lights and we got pretty excited. When it was time to get ready we rushed to the hotel to get all girly and pretty for Craig, Randy, Jeff, AND Chris! We were hoping that we can maybe meet them or at least see them after the show, so we brought our book just in case to get signed by Craig. We got the theater and sat down in our seats. Our seats were pretty good once again, we were in the 7th row on the left. While we waited, we tweeted Craig saying that we were excited to see him.

THEN.....

Randy came out and made my stomach hurt from laughing so hard. He really had me laughing good that night. All his jokes were so good. Thanks Randy, I didnt know what to expect but oh man did you blow me away with those jokes. Thanks

THEN IT WAS TIME.....

We saw Chris skipping around to the music with his lovely costume on. Then Jeff appeared and then the only and only Craig, our fearless leader came out. They danced their little number and Craig started with his jokes. The first thing he starts off by saying "I came here to tell you a joke..." and then he goes on and talks about his son and wife, and many other things. Everything he said, like always, was funny. I wont tell you his jokes because you really have to be there and hear him live. It worth every dollar to see him do stand up. I've never seen him do it before, because before this I only went to his live tapings but I'm definitely going to see him do stand up once again next time he's in LA or somewhere close around.

The night finally ended and I walked out of the theater with a good smile on my face and a belly full of laughs. We waited a little bit by the stage door to see if Craig or someone else would come out, but sadly we didnt see anyone. We didn't really want to stay out there long, there were some major creepers lurking around. So we decided to go back to the hotel.

That night, Christine and I went to bed with a HUGE smile on both of our faces.

Oh Craig Part 1

On Tuesday, November 2nd my friend Christine and I went to see Craig Ferguson talk with Lewis Black at the El Rey Theater. We were both so excited to see Craig because he is one of our idols and we just love him because he's hilarious! So knowing that it's November 2nd, it was time to vote. We went to class, ran and voted then drove towards the El Rey Theater. Going there we stopped and ate and looked out if we saw any roboskellies walking around maybe just wasting some time before seeing him. The time finally came and we got an awesome parking spot and walked to get in line. There wasn't too many people there, but it was nice to talk to some folks that were waiting and drinking some wine before hand in line. (Cheers to those people!) As we were waiting we saw Lewis Black just walking around outside the theater and talking to "his people", we didn't want to bother him or anything but he did crack a few jokes to us later on. Then before we got in, we saw Craig pull up. He was walking in, a few people yelled "Hey Craig!" and he turned and smiled but while turning it head and smiling, he bumped into a guy and looked like he almost kissed him. Some people laughed and Craig made a joke out of it. Craig finally went inside to get ready for "the talk".

We finally got in, and sat down. It was General Admission, so you can sit where ever you want. Luckily, Christine and I got pretty close to the left side in the third row. To us, it seemed like the best spot in the house. We were close enough to see and weren't too close so we wont strain our necks looking up at our leader. Craig and Lewis came out with their coffee and started to chat. Craig was cracking all the jokes that night, and he was pretty good. Lewis Black couldn't stop laughing, I honestly think at one point I saw Lewis Black wipe his eyes because he was laughing that hard!

Then finally they took some questions from the audience. Christine and I tried to think of a good question to ask but sadly we didn't of a  good one to ask. Lots of people has questions, and Craig and Lewis took them very seriously. At first they were all about the voting from that day, and then it shifted to mostly questions about Craig and if he's writing a screenplay or not (which he is). Then people asked what Craig and Lewis's option was on certain Props in CA. It was mostly about Prop 19 and such, and someone yelled out some random stuff that Craig clearly ignored at first, but then finally answered her question.

Then sadly, it was over. Craig signed a few books and posters to some fans. Then he left, and Christine and I went to our car and drove off with a big smile waiting for Friday. Continue to part 2 if you want to know what happens....

(Hint: Craig Ferguson+San Diego= AWESOME!!!)
